What we do with the details you send us, in plain terms. If anything here is not clear, ring the showroom and ask for Simon.
Who we are
Boundary Carpets & Beds is an independent carpet, flooring and bed showroom at Unit 3 Regent Street, Colne, Lancashire BB8 8LD. You can reach us on 01282 860041 or at boundarycarpets@hotmail.com.
What the enquiry form collects, and why
When you ask for a free measure and quote we collect your name, your phone number, your email address, the address of the property, what you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box. We collect it for one reason: to reply to your enquiry and arrange the measure. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
Those details are stored in our enquiry database and sent to us by email so the showroom sees them. That is the whole journey.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as it is useful, which usually means while we are quoting, fitting, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us about the same job. If you would rather we deleted it sooner, ask and we will.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It tells us that a page was viewed, that someone tapped the phone number, or that an enquiry was sent. It does not tell us who you are.
Advertising signals are switched off. We do not run remarketing, we do not build advertising profiles, and no advertising cookies are set by this site.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the analytics ones described above, plus a note of whether you have dismissed the cookie message so it does not keep reappearing. There are no advertising cookies.
Asking to see or delete your data
Ring 01282 860041 or email boundarycarpets@hotmail.com and tell us what you want. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will not charge you and we will not ask you why.
If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your details you can raise it with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection.
